Who We Are
Learn about LITTLE TREES Ireland — the trusted distributor bringing iconic car air fresheners to Irish drivers.
Freshness That Started It All
Car-Freshner Corporation is the company behind the iconic LITTLE TREES brand air fresheners. Headquartered in Watertown, New York, USA, we have been bringing high-quality fragrances to vehicles and spaces around the world for decades.
Our Story
It all began in 1952, when a milk truck driver in northern New York complained to Julius Sämann about the smell of spilled milk. Inspired to solve this problem, Julius:
- Combined exceptional fragrances with specialised blotter material
- Invented the first-ever car air freshener
- Shaped it like an abstract evergreen tree, honouring his years extracting aromatic oils from Canada's pine forests
The Result
A simple, effective, and high-quality solution that quickly became a favourite across the United States and, eventually, the world. Today, LITTLE TREES air fresheners are recognised as a global symbol of freshness, appearing in countless movies and television shows.
